Homecoming Weekend 2013
Alumni and friends came home to Oakland University to celebrate 2013 Homecoming Weekend. The Alumni Welcome Reception kicked off the weekend at Meadow Brook Hall with record breaking attendance. On Saturday, Oakland men’s basketball coach Greg Kampe became the 21st active Division I coach to reach 500 wins as the team finished with a 67-60 victory over Western Illinois. The festivities feature honorary alumni co-chairs Joseph Angileri, SBA ’80, president and COO of Compuware Corporation and Jacqueline Long, SON ’81, who served on the OU Board of Trustees from 2004-2012.
