Letter from the Chair

Hello!

Earlier this year, the Black Alumni Chapter elected new leadership and established three committees – alumni outreach, student outreach and philanthropy – to support our priorities.  We have worked with our university liaison over the past several months to determine opportunities where our priority areas align with the needs of current students and OU as a whole.  There is much to do and we are excited for the future, but we need your help!

For more information about how to get involved, please contact me or any of the council members listed below.  Also, please like us on the Official Oakland University Black Alumni Facebook page.

I look forward to seeing you soon.

Thank you,

Sharman Davenport, CAS ‘80
Chair, Black Alumni Chapter Leadership Council
